As more people begin using MyPath Maine, the need to keep it running, updated, and growing continues. Behind the scenes, there are real costs… software, maintenance, and ongoing development to make sure it stays simple, reliable, and accessible.

At MyPath Maine our mission is to provide accessible and effective support for mental health, basic needs, and crisis situations in Maine. We are dedicated to breaking the stigma around mental health and ensuring that everyone can seek and receive the help they need.
Bridging the Gap
Across Maine, many individuals and families face moments when life becomes overwhelming and they don’t know where to turn. Housing challenges, mental health struggles, financial hardship, or family crises can quickly leave people feeling isolated and unsure where to begin.
At the same time, hundreds of organizations and programs across the state are working every day to help. But these resources are often scattered across different systems, making them difficult to find when someone needs support the most.
MyPath Maine exists to bridge that gap by helping Mainers quickly connect with the resources, services, and support already available in their communities. Because when someone is struggling, finding help shouldn’t be the hardest part.

Building Maine’s
Missing Resource Map
For the past several months, Our founder has been quietly working behind the scenes on a project that started as something simple: a resource packet meant to help people navigate difficult situations. But the deeper she worked on it, the clearer the problem became. The issue isn’t always that help doesn’t exist. The issue is finding it.
That idea has grown into a much bigger vision. In the coming months, MyPath Maine will begin developing a searchable online database designed to connect Mainers with the resources that already exist across the state. Instead of digging through scattered websites, outdated lists, or endless phone calls, people will be able to search one centralized platform to find support services, housing assistance, food programs, mental health resources, community organizations, and more.
The goal isn’t to replace the incredible work nonprofits and service providers are already doing. It’s to make their work easier to find.
As the platform takes shape, MyPath Maine will also begin raising funds for a statewide public service campaign to ensure people know this resource exists when they need it most.
Right now, we are looking to connect with organizations, nonprofits, and service providers across Maine who want to be part of this effort. If your organization helps people access resources or support services, we would love to collaborate.
Because help does exist.
People just need a clearer path to find it.
